Who We Are

Frost Ice Cream Co. is a small-batch, from-scratch ice cream shop in Windsor, Ontario. Every flavour begins with milk and cream as the first ingredients — made the way ice cream should be. We write and develop all of our recipes in-house, crafting flavours that blend nostalgia with creativity.
We hand-make many of our mix-ins and locally source the rest, choosing only ingredients that elevate the final product. Our menu rotates monthly, featuring flavours you won’t find anywhere else — inspired by childhood favourites, local treats, and anything we think we can turn into ice cream.

What We Do

We create small-batch hard ice cream with flavours that change monthly — each one written in-house and inspired by the season or whatever sparks our imagination. There’s always a vegan or non-dairy option, along with our signature Vanilla and Chocolate.

Every week, we make real-dairy soft serve in two flavours and a twist, crafted with milk and cream only.

Our Affogato Series elevates ice cream with café favourites like coffee, matcha, hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and brewed tea — all served in ice-cream-lined cups.

We also offer a weekly Feature Sundae and our house-made, gelatin-free marshmallow fluff to finish any drink or scoop.

Where is your ice cream made?

All of our ice cream is made right here in store everyday, including our soft serve. We do not use any pre-packaged/powdered mixtures. All of our ice cream starts with real milk, cream and sugar.

Do you have nut free options?

We are not a nut free facility. Everything is made in one kitchen. While some of our flavours do not contain nuts, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. If you’re unsure of any flavour, please don’t hesitate to ask.

When will you have new flavours?

New flavours drop on the 1st of every month at midnight.

Will my favourite flavour come back?

While we do bring back most flavours during the same month every year, some flavours don’t always make the cut. We’re always striving to improve and try new things.

Do you have dairy-free or vegan options?

Yes, we always have at least 2 vegan or non-dairy options on our menu. We usually have a vegan chocolate and another rotating flavour, which can either be a sorbet or a non-dairy milk based flavour.

What is your vegan base?

We use a blend of oat milk and coconut milk.
